Hello, friends! Gosh, it’s been a thrilling week, huh? Well, for me at least. I don’t know about you, but I’m sure everyone’s been up to wonderful things. The Boy’s wisdom teeth are finally healed, so this weekend I’m thinking about cooking something special: Venison. Wish me luck, I’ll let you know how that goes some time next week perhaps. Everyone have a marvelous weekend, and don’t forget to check out the supernova! It peaks in brightness tonight, so I think The Boy and I are breaking out the big telescope and heading to the football field.

Two beautiful posts from 100 Layer Cake. Now that I’m engaged (the novelty hasn’t worn off yet) you can bet you’ll be seeing quite a bit of wedding nonsense here, since I no longer have to be ashamed of my obsession with this blog.
Iggy, is that you!?
Everybody and their grandmother is re-purposing old books, it seems.
Who can get enough of Jenna Lyons? No one, apparently. Also, easily the coolest way to store shoes I’ve ever seen (and shoe storage is something of a pet hobby of mine)
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. All things miniature make me smile.
Such a sweet spread for Vogue Enfants. Brings to mind Eloise and Madeline and all those other sassy mini-divas that inspired my youth.
I thought I was going to be a racehorse jockey until roundabout my sixteenth birthday (not a joke). If this happened to me as a kid, I think I would have died/wet myself/thrown up with pleasure.
What a fun and colorful place to get away!
Enjoy the weekend, everybody!
