Friday’s Here!

Don’t know about everyone else, but I’ve got the holiday bug real bad. I don’t usually get especially excited about Christmas/Hannukah (we do both), but this year I’m feeling extra festive. Has anyone else noticed the glitter madness that has taken over the web? Seems like every blogger I know is doing some DIY glitter something or another, and let me just say: I like it. Providence is very windy and very hilly, so practical clothing is a must (that’s a sentence my eighteen year old self would rather die than say), but all I really want to do is throw on a frilly dress, some sparkly shoes, drink champagne and open presents ’till spring comes. Who’s with me!?

Every holiday The Boy gets a present and a big stack of books. This one is definitely making it into the pile this year.

Ink in water, brilliance.

I’ve currently got an inappropriate fixation on this wedding dress. A girl can dream…

Might be the wine, but this nearly made me cry. Thankfully, *spoiler*, she doesn’t die at the end.

My gorgeous, talented, tooamazingforwords friend Dana is currently featured on the Urban Outfitters blog!

Delicate, wondersome book sculptures.

Guess who’s going to San Francisco for New Year’s? I’m so excited I can’t even plan. Seriously, if you have any suggestions I need them.

Love Mates of State. Love this video. I’ve seen them live a few times, and once had a chance to talk to them after a show because they are extraordinarily nice people. I traded shoe shopping advice with Kori. It was magical.

This is just so, so lovely. I’ve actually got an old typewriter lying around that could use some repurposing…

Make a wish : )

Enjoy your weekend! Top photo via Love With the Proper Stranger, bottom image via Wit + Delight.
